1. Parents are encouraged to visit the official website at www.rteonline.uk.gov.in to initiate the student registration process. Subsequently, a unique registration number will be sent to the mobile number provided in the online form. Upon completion of the form, verify all details and advance by selecting the “Save and Next” button. 2. After submitting the online application, parents are required to deliver a copy of the application form together with two duplicates of essential documents (such as birth certificate, residence certificate, income certificate, or caste certificate) to the Block Education Officer’s office. Participation in the lottery selection process is contingent upon verification of documentation by the Block Education Officer.

RTE Online Admission 2026–27: अंतिम तिथि बढ़कर 06 अप्रैल 2026

According to the Right to Education Act, the deadline for applications on the RTE portal has been extended to 06 April 2026.

In accordance with Section 12(1)(c) of the Right to Education Act, the admission process for the academic year 2026–27 in private schools is being conducted online. The schedule and essential guidelines issued under the state scheme for the year 2025–26, dated 27 February 2026, have been distributed across all districts. Consequently, the admission process is being executed at the district level, and advertisements have also been published in newspapers.

As per the guidelines provided by the district, applications for the admission of children from weaker sections and disadvantaged groups through the portal were initially required to be submitted by 02 April 2026. However, this deadline has now been extended to 06 April 2026 to encourage maximum participation from applicants.

Additionally, instructions have been issued to all relevant offices to verify the applications received through the portal and to ensure that all necessary documents are uploaded correctly. The revised final date has been communicated through an official notification dated 07 April 2026.

All District Basic Education Officers have been instructed to ensure that the verification process of applications is completed in a timely manner. The state-level lottery process will take place after the application process is concluded, and the final date for the lottery will be announced separately.
