Instructions for Parents (2026-2027)

Parents of children who are eligible for admission as per the Selection List are required to bring both the original documents and attested photocopies of all the documents that were specified during the application process. Furthermore, they should secure a printout of the allotment letter provided to them, which can be accessed through their login portal or by visiting the Verification Committee. Additionally, parents must carry a printout of the Undertaking Form that is available on the RTE portal.
For the RTE online admission procedure for the academic year 2026-27, parents of children eligible for admission under the Selection List will receive SMS notifications on their mobile devices. However, it is important for parents not to depend solely on the SMS; they must also confirm whether their child has been selected in the lottery by entering their application number in the “Application Status” section of the RTE portal.
Parents are advised not to log in to the portal to generate the Admit Card; they should exclusively use the “Application Status” tab available on the portal for this task.
Parents must visit the Verification Committee within the designated timeframe, bringing the original and attested copies of all documents submitted during the application process, to validate their child’s admission online. It is essential to obtain a receipt from the Verification Committee that confirms the successful online admission.
Students listed on the Waiting List should verify their respective waiting list numbers by entering their application number in the “Application Status” section.
SMS notifications will be dispatched to students on the Waiting List, in sequential order, only after the admission period for students on the Selection List has ended.
