Minimum Age Criteria in Karnataka RTE Admission 2026-27
The determination of the Minimum Age as of June 1, 2026, is relevant to the academic year 2026-27. This exception is exclusive to this particular academic year. The age relaxation for Class 1 admissions is valid for all government and private schools across all curricula throughout Karnataka State. Additionally, children who have attended Anganwadi for three years will also be eligible for Class 1 admission at the age of 5 years and 5 months in all schools for the current academic year 2026-27.
