NSE Market Timings 2024
Equity trading takes place daily from Monday to Friday, excluding weekends and officially recognized holidays. The trading timetable is outlined as follows:
A) Pre-open phase
Order submissions and changes can be made from 09:00 to 09:08, with a brief one-minute random pause before the pre-open order matching begins.
B) Regular trading phase
The market commences standard trading at 09:15 and concludes at 15:30.
C) Closing phase
The Closing Session is held from 15:40 to 16:00.
D) Block Deal Session Hours:
Morning Slot: Runs from 08:45 AM to 09:00 AM.
Afternoon Slot: Operates between 02:05 PM and 2:20 PM.
It’s important to remember that the Exchange holds the authority to modify market hours or close the market on unscheduled holidays as deemed necessary.
