UPSC CAPF Assistant Commandant Examination 2024: Mobile Phones Banned
Applicants seeking to participate in the UPSC CAPF Assistant Commandant Examination 2024 must fulfill specific eligibility requirements, delineated as follows:
- Nationality: Only individuals with Indian citizenship are eligible for appointment or employment under these regulations, unless officially authorized by the Central Government. Nonetheless, candidates from Nepal or Bhutan may also be considered for appointment, enrollment, or employment under these regulations.
- Gender: Both male and female aspirants are qualified for the Assistant Commandant position.
- Age Criteria:
- Candidates must have attained a minimum age of 20 years and must not exceed 25 years as of August 1, 2024. In other words, their birth dates should fall between August 2, 1999, and August 1, 2004.
- The upper age limit may be relaxed in the following manner:
- For Scheduled Castes or Scheduled Tribes candidates, a relaxation of up to five years.
- For candidates from Other Backward Classes eligible for reservation, a relaxation of up to three years.
- For Civilian Central Government Servants, a relaxation of up to five years as per prevailing government directives. Ex-Servicemen can also avail of this concession. However, the total relaxation due to Government Service shall not exceed five years.
