Meghalaya RTE 25 Admission List 2025-2026
Meghalaya RTE 25 Admission 2025-26: Private schools are mandated by the Right to Education (RTE) Act to reserve 25% of their seats at the entry level (LKG and Class I) for children belonging to economically and socially disadvantaged groups. Priority is given to children of conservancy workers, individuals impacted by HIV, persons with disabilities, and orphans during RTE admissions.
The admission procedure should commence with a notification allowing families ample time to apply online for admission to the nearest private school. Selection should be conducted openly and transparently using a Draw of Lots system. Following this, the outcomes must be publicly disclosed by posting them on the school notice board and sharing them on the school’s official website. The results should contain the names of all candidates, their roll numbers, parents’ names, and dates of birth for the sake of clarity and accountability.
