Lakshadweep RTE 25 Admission List 2025-2026
Lakshadweep RTE 25 Admission 2025-26: The Lakshadweep RTE School Admission List for the academic year 2025-26 is now available in PDF format. In accordance with the RTE Act of 2009, a significant educational legislation, all states and Union Territories are mandated to implement the ‘Right to Free and Compulsory Education’ policy in unaided private schools annually.
Under the RTE Act, private schools are required to reserve 25 percent of their seats for children from socially disadvantaged and economically backward backgrounds. This reservation applies to the entry-level classes such as Lower Kindergarten (LKG) and Class I, ensuring access for students from economically and socially marginalized communities. Furthermore, priority is given to children of conservancy workers, those impacted by HIV, individuals with disabilities, and orphans during the admission process under the RTE Act.
To initiate the admission process, notifications should be issued, allowing sufficient time for online applications to be submitted for admission to the nearest private school. The selection process must be conducted transparently, potentially utilizing a Draw of Lots system. Following this procedure, the list of selected candidates should be publicly displayed on the school notice board and published on the school’s official website, including the names and roll numbers of successful applicants.
