Dearness Allowance for KVS Teachers and Staff
The Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, a well-known educational body, has recently announced a noteworthy change regarding staff compensation. Starting January 1, 2024, all teaching and non-teaching personnel within the KVS framework will enjoy a substantial boost in their pay. A 50% Dearness Allowance has been sanctioned for every employee, irrespective of their position in the organization.
This additional financial support will be based on half of each employee’s Basic pay, ensuring equitable compensation across all roles within KVS. To ease any financial burdens, the Dearness Allowance for January and February will be disbursed as arrears, while the allowance for March will be incorporated into the next salary payment.
