IIM Trichy Admission 2025: For all of its programs, IIM Trichy uses an entrance-based admissions procedure. The Common Admission Test (CAT) scores and a personal interview are used to determine admission to the PGPM/MBA programs. Candidates who receive valid results on the CAT, GMAT, GRE, IIMB Test, or UGC-JRF are eligible to apply for the Ph.D. programs and will be selected for an interview.
PGPM (the flagship program), PGPM-HR, E-PGP, FPM, and E-PhD are among the postgraduate and doctorate programs offered by IIM Trichy. For qualified applicants, the institute also offers scholarships.

IIM Trichy Admission: PGPM / PGPM-HR
The Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGPM), another name for IIM Trichy’s full-time MBA program, is divided into six trimesters. The CAT exam is required for admission to this program, and those who get the short list then go through an interview process. A composite scorecard that takes into account three important factors—the candidate’s profile, performance in the PI round, and CAT score—is used to make the final decision.

The EDPM program at IIM Trichy is open to individuals who have at least 10 years of work experience, are currently employed as full-time executives, and have had exposure to management education through graduation or postgraduate studies and have passed them with first class.

Application Process for IIM Trichy Admission
- Register on the IIM Trichy website for the desired program (PGPM, PGPM-HR, or DPM).
- Fill in the application form with personal, academic, and professional details.
- Upload the necessary documents as specified by the institute.
- Pay the applicable application fee.
- For PGPM and PGPM-HR programs, candidates are shortlisted based on their CAT score and invited for the Personal Interview (PI) round.
