आईआईएम अहमदाबाद प्रवेश 2025: छात्रवृत्ति, और आवेदन प्रक्रिया
IIM Ahmedabad Admission 2025: Graduates from various fields who want to pursue a career in management can enroll in IIM Ahmedabad’s (IIMA) two–year Post-graduate Programme in Management (PGP), which is a full-time residential study. In 2025, entrance is primarily used to determine admission to IIM Ahmedabad. This university is renowned for its flagship PGP (Master of Business Administration) program, which is a full-time, residential, two-year program that admits students based on a valid CAT score. The CAT percentile for IIM Ahmedabad has grown to 99.6 in prior years, illustrating the difficulty of admission to this university. Every year, when CAT registrations open, the IIM-A admission cycle for PGP begins.
IIM A offers further postgraduate and doctoral management degree programs in addition to PGP. Candidates for these programs are screened using entrance exams tailored to their courses, and a Personal Interview (PI) phase is usually part of the shortlisting process. The outcomes of a number of entrance exams, which are followed by additional prerequisites, determine admission to all courses at IIM Ahmedabad.

Scholarships for IIM Ahmedabad Admission 2025
IIMA aims to offer its programmes (PGP & PGP-FABM) to all qualified candidates requiring financial support. To facilitate this, IIMA has established a Need Based Scholarship Scheme to supplement the various scholarships available from industry and government sources. Each year, numerous students receive significant financial aid through this scheme. The scholarship amount is determined based on multiple factors, including annual gross family income, asset ownership, and the number of family dependents. Applications for Special Need Based scholarships are accepted annually in July or August. Additionally, many commercial banks and financial institutions offer educational loans to students. For further information, candidates are encouraged to reach out to the branch offices of these banks.
Eligibility for IIM Ahmedabad Admission
Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree with at least 50% marks or an equivalent CGPA. For those from the Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), or Persons with Disabilities (PwD) categories, the requirement is lowered to 45%. The degree should be from a university recognized by an act of the central or state legislature in India, or from other educational institutions established by an act of Parliament or recognized as a university under section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956.
Alternatively, candidates may possess an equivalent qualification acknowledged by the Ministry of HRD, Government of India. Additionally, the bachelor’s degree or equivalent must consist of a minimum of three years of education after completing higher secondary schooling (10+2) or its equivalent. The percentage attained by the candidate in their bachelor’s degree will be based on the practices of the institution or university from which the degree was awarded.
In cases where grades or CGPA are provided instead of marks, the equivalence will be determined by the institution or university’s certification. If no conversion scheme exists for CGPA to equivalent marks, IIMA will establish equivalence by dividing the obtained CGPA by the maximum possible CGPA and multiplying the result by 100.
Individuals who are currently enrolled in their final year of a bachelor’s degree or an equivalent qualification examination, along with those who have completed their degree requirements and are waiting for results, may also submit an application. These candidates are required to present a certificate from the Principal, Head of the Department, Registrar, or Director of the Institution or University, verifying that they are in their final year or awaiting results, and that they have secured at least 50% marks or equivalent (45% for SC/ST/PwD candidates) according to the latest available grades or marks.
It is essential for a final year student who has been provisionally admitted to provide the marksheet and degree certificate from their final year bachelor’s degree examination, which must be completed by June 30, 2025, including any supplementary exams, in order to qualify for admission to the Post-graduate Programme (PGP) for the 2025-27 Batch. The final date for submitting the marksheet and certificate is December 31, 2025. Failure to meet this requirement will lead to the automatic cancellation of provisional admission. IIMA will not permit any candidate to enroll in its PGP if they do not fulfill all the criteria for obtaining a bachelor’s degree by June 30, 2025.
