HSRP Number Plate Odisha 2024: Vehicle manufacturers and their authorized dealers will be responsible for the exclusive installation of the High-Security Registration Plate (HSRP). Only the designated HSRP provider approved by the manufacturers will supply these plates to their authorized dealers. The process of fitting HSRP on older vehicles will be conducted by the authorized dealers of the manufacturers.
In order to promote transparency and prevent any pricing discrepancies, vehicle owners are required to schedule the installation of HSRP and submit payment through an approved online platform authorized by the manufacturers. This platform enables owners to select a dealer, location, and installation date that suits their preferences. Additionally, the authorized portal will send notifications regarding the status of the order to owners through SMS.
Manufacturers or their dealers must clearly display the charges for HSRP installation at their showrooms and on the designated portal to uphold transparency. Supplementary services for installing HSRP at an alternative location may be available for an additional fee, pending the owner’s approval.
Following the attachment of the HSRP, manufacturers or their dealers must update the laser code in the VAHAN portal. Vehicles lacking a valid Registration Certificate, Fitness Certificate (for Transport Vehicles), or having outstanding tax obligations will not be eligible to have HSRP installed by manufacturers or their authorized dealers. Manufacturers are obligated to make necessary adjustments to their portal in accordance with these regulations.
