UDISE Plus 2024: UDISE+ Teacher Module, School Module Registration and Login Profile
UDISE Plus Registration and Login: UDISe+ stands for Unified District Information System for Education Plus. It serves as an extensive and advanced database that is essential for effective educational planning and policy formulation. Accurate and timely data is the bedrock of informed decision-making, enabling educational institutions to achieve their objectives and better serve their communities.
To realize this vision, establishing a robust Sustainable Educational Management Information System is critical today, as it provides stakeholders with essential information that fosters improvement and accountability in the education sector. UDISE+ stands out as one of the most ambitious Management Information Systems launched by the Department of School Education and Literacy under the Ministry of Education, Government of India. This vast system encompasses over 1.489 million schools, 9.5 million teachers, and an astounding 265 million children, making it an indispensable tool for analyzing and enhancing the educational framework throughout the country.
UDISE Plus: SDMS (Student Database Management System)
The Student Database Management System, or SDMS for short, is a cutting-edge platform meticulously crafted to oversee a wide range of student records. It captures essential details like student profiles, enrollment information, dropout statistics, transfer records, and data regarding academic progress or setbacks. This powerful system not only generates valuable reports across various administrative tiers—Central, State, district, block, and individual schools—but also enriches the educational management landscape.
Beyond its reporting functions, the SDMS acts as a formidable data management solution, allowing for effortless storage, updates, manipulation, analysis, and sharing of student data. Its intuitive interface empowers educators and administrators to effortlessly access and manage student information without any cumbersome hurdles. Additionally, the system boasts customized search options that enhance the efficiency of tracking student records, enabling swift access to crucial information.
The SDMS encompasses a broad range of student data throughout the educational spectrum, integrating records from different educational boards, school management organizations, autonomous entities, vocational programs, and open school students. Notably, it operates on a federated model, providing distinct instances that cater to the specific needs of various states, autonomous bodies, and school management systems. This approach allows each organization to effectively handle its unique data demands while the SDMS harmonizes and consolidates student information from these entities into a unified database that bolsters educational advancements and informs policy decisions.

UDISE Plus: How to find UDISE number?
Finding your UDISE number is a breeze! In the Unified District Information System for Education (UDISE), your school’s UDISE code acts like a username, while the password is provided by the block MIS coordinator. If you don’t have a UDISE code yet, simply sign up on the SDMS portal to create one. After registration, the Block Education Officer (BEO) will group your school into a cluster and share verification details, enabling you to receive a provisional U-DISE code. This code grants access to a wealth of information about any school. Keep in mind, though, that these codes can be quite lengthy—around 13 characters—making them tough to memorize.
If you happen to forget your school’s U-DISE number, don’t worry! You can easily recover any school’s U-DISE code at any time via the government website src.udiseplus.gov.in.
To find your school’s UDISE number, you have a couple of options at your disposal. The first option is to head to the homepage where you can enter both your school’s UDISE and its PIN code. After you submit the PIN, you’ll receive a detailed report of all schools in the vicinity, allowing easy access to your school’s details. Here’s the second method you can follow:
Step 1: Launch your web browser and navigate to src.udiseplus.gov.in.
Step 2: Look for the ‘Locate School’ section.
Step 3: Click on it, and a search form will pop up with several fields for you to complete.
Tip: It’s advisable to fill in as many fields as possible about your school, including Academic Year, State, District, Block, Cluster, and Village.
Step 4: Finally, hit the Search button found at the bottom of the form. Just a heads-up, the search process may take a bit of time based on your internet connection and the information you’ve provided.
