TNMVMD Apprentice Recruitment Vacancy Details 2024

We are currently on the lookout for Category – I Graduate Apprentices in the fields of Engineering and Technology, particularly focusing on Mechanical and Automobile Engineering. There are 18 apprenticeship positions up for grabs. Each apprentice will receive a monthly stipend of Rs.9000 to assist them financially throughout their training. This apprenticeship lasts for one year, allowing participants to acquire essential practical experience within their selected disciplines.

Additionally, we have openings for Category-II Diploma (Technician) Apprentices in Engineering and Technology, specifically in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering. A total of 61 positions are available for eager learners. Throughout their training, apprentices will benefit from a monthly stipend of Rs.8000 to facilitate their educational journey. This program also spans one year, providing ample opportunity for apprentices to gain valuable hands-on skills and insights in their area of study.

TNMVMD Apprentice Recruitment Qualifications 2024

For Category I, Graduate Apprentices are expected to have a full-time degree in Engineering or Technology from a recognized Statutory University in the pertinent field. Alternatively, they may hold a degree granted by an institution authorized by an Act of Parliament, or they might qualify through a graduate examination conducted by professional organizations acknowledged by either the State or Central Government as equivalent to the previously mentioned qualifications.

In contrast, Category II Technician (Diploma) Apprentices need to possess a full-time diploma in Engineering or Technology awarded by a State Council or Board of Technical Education formed by the State Government in the relevant field. They could also obtain their diploma from a university in the appropriate discipline or from an institution recognized by either the State or Central Government as equivalent to the previously noted qualifications.

TNMVMD Apprentice Recruitment Selection Procedure 2024

The Board of Apprenticeship Training (SR) is tasked with compiling a shortlist based on the details provided in the online applications. Selection will be determined by the percentage of marks obtained in the necessary basic qualifications relevant to each discipline. Candidates who make it to the shortlist will be informed via their registered email. Those selected are required to participate in a Certificate Verification session at TNMVMD in Chennai.

How to apply TNMVMD Apprentice Recruitment 2024?

If you are a student who has already registered with the previous National Web Portal (www.mhrdnats.gov.in) and have your login details, please respond with “A.”

To get started:

  1. a. Visit the link https://nats.education.gov.in
    b. Select the option for Students
    c. Click on Student login
    d. Choose Forgot Password
    e. Enter your registered email to obtain an activation link and reset your password.
  2. a. Log in as a student
    b. Provide your registered email and set a new password
    c. Complete the application form
    d. You will receive a unique Enrollment number (12 digits) assigned to you.

After finishing the enrollment on the new portal:
To submit your application:
a. Log in using your email and new password
b. Go to “Apply against advertised vacancies” and search for “TAMIL NADU MOTOR VEHICLES MAINTENANCE DEPARTMENT”
c. Click apply. You will then see your status as “applied.”

For those students currently registered on the newly established National Web Portal (www.nats.education.gov.in) with login credentials, please respond with “B.”

a. Log in using your email and password

c. Hit the apply button. Once done, your status will indicate “applied.”

To enroll in the National Web Portal for new applicants, follow these steps:

  4. After finishing, you will receive a unique 12-digit Enrolment Number (ATN).
