Department of Employment and TrainingDE (DET) TN ITI Admission 2024: The Department of Employment and Training in Tamil Nadu is excited to announce the commencement of enrollment for vocational training institutes (ITI) for the year 2024. With a total of 102 Government Vocational Training Centers and 305 Private Vocational Training Centers under its supervision, the department aims to provide quality training opportunities for individuals seeking to enhance their skills and employability.

The recruitment process for coaches for the upcoming academic year 2024-2025 has been successfully completed through online means, wrapping up on June 28, 2024. As part of our commitment to accessibility, direct admissions are now available to students who have completed either 8th or 10th grade. The enrollment period for these vocational training centers is scheduled from July 1, 2024, to July 15, 2024.

Prospective students are encouraged to visit the centers in person during this enrollment window, bringing along their certificates to facilitate the selection of their desired profession and kickstart their vocational training journey. TN ITI Admission 2024: How to apply online?

For the year 2024, individuals interested in undergoing vocational training at Tamil Nadu ITIs should carefully follow the instructional video and manual provided before proceeding with the application process.

During the admission process at the vocational training center, it is crucial to have all original certificates ready for submission. Failure to submit these documents will result in disqualification of the application.

Applicants are solely responsible for the accuracy of the information uploaded. Any inconsistencies will lead to rejection by the authorities at any stage of the application process.

When completing the application form, ensure you have the following documents readily available:

  • Full Name of the Candidate
  • Email Address
  • Phone Number

It is important to provide a valid and unique email address and phone number since modifications are not allowed, and these details will be used for future communication. Verify that these details are not already registered on the website.

The candidate’s Date of Birth should indicate that they have reached the age of 14 by 01.08.2024.

Include information regarding Community/Caste (ST/SCA/SC/MBC/DNT/BCM/BC).

An Aadhaar number is a mandatory requirement for the application process.

TN ITI Admission 2024: Reservation

Please specify priority reservation for the following categories:

a. Former military personnel or their family members
b. Persons with disabilities
c. Winners of state-level sports competitions
d. Children without parents

TN ITI Admission 2024: Required Documents

Kindly provide the necessary details to facilitate the online payment of the application fee (Debit card/credit card/Gpay/Net banking). Parents of 10th-grade students for the year 2021 are required to register the marks of their 9th-grade children.

Ensure that the specified certificates are scanned and stored in JPEG format (with a file size ranging from 50 kb to 100 kb), including the 8th/10th-grade Mark Sheet, Transfer Certificate, Community/Caste Certificate, Priority Reservation Certificate, and Migration Certificate (for candidates from other states).

Additionally, prepare passport-sized photos and signatures in JPG format (Photo: 50kb to 100kb, Sign: 10kb to 20kb). The EMIS No. can be found on the student’s Transfer Certificate or School ID card.
