TN Anganwadi Recruitment 2025: Service benefits
Auxiliary Nurse Midwives (ANMs) and Anganwadi Workers (AWWs/AWHs) in Tamil Nadu are recipients of service benefits through a range of schemes and initiatives. A notable provision is the compassionate appointments, which offer a ray of hope in times of tragedy – namely, when an employee of an Anganwadi Center passes away during service. In such unfortunate circumstances, the Government steps in to provide a compassionate appointment to the legal heir of the deceased, offering a semblance of stability and assistance to the bereaved family.
Moreover, at a conference convened on 21st November 2009, the Honorable Chief Minister unveiled additional privileges for the personnel serving in Noon Meal Centers and Integrated Child Development Services (ICDS). Subsequent directives have been issued to enforce these benefits, thereby extending further support and acknowledgment to the committed individuals contributing to these crucial community services.
