Maharashtra FYJC Admission 2025-26 Online Application Form Begins Today 7.6.2025: The Government of Maharashtra has officially commenced the online application process for First Year Junior College (FYJC) admissions for the academic year 2025-26. Starting today, May 26, 2025, at 11:00 AM, Revised 2- on Dated 7.6.2025 Round One – Display of vacancies for Regular Round 2 (including Quota seats in Junior Colleges) – is scheduled for July 5, 2025. Students across the state can register for Round 1 of Class 11 admissions through the newly launched centralized portal: mahafyjcadmissions.in.
The Government of Maharashtra has established six Administrative Divisions for FYJC admissions for the academic year 2025-26, namely Mumbai, Pune, Nashik, Sambhajinagar, Amravati, Nagpur, Kolhapur, and Latur. The admission process for Class 11 has been sanctioned to be conducted online throughout the state based on merit. This year, a new online single-window system has been implemented for 11th grade admissions in Maharashtra, utilizing the newly developed Central Admission Process (CAP) and operating under the new URL: https://mahafyjcadmissions.in/
Maharashtra FYJC Admission 2025 Seat Allocation by Stream: Science: 852,206 seats, Commerce: 540,312 seats, Arts: 650,682 seats.

- Registration of Actual Students and the online submission of applications along with their preferences.
- Students will have the opportunity to enroll in a minimum of one and a maximum of ten preferences for Junior Colleges.
- Allotment for students will be based on their preferences, marks, and any applicable reservations indicated in the application form.
- Students may also apply online for Quota simultaneously. (Zero Round for Management/In-house/Minority Quota)
- Students are required to provide their consent at each round.
- Students who are not admitted can fill out and edit their preferences or stream after each round.
5 June 2025 – Display of PROVISIONAL GENERAL MERIT LIST
07 June 2025 to 09 June 2025
- Submission of objections or correction requests regarding the Provisional General Merit List (if applicable) can be made through the “Grievance Redressal” section in the student login.
- Online resolution of grievances or correction requests will be handled by the relevant Deputy Director of Education.
- The finalization of grievance redressal will be conducted by the appropriate Deputy Director of Education.
11 June 2025
- FINALIZATION OF THE GENERAL MERIT LIST (Single occurrence activity) and Zero Round allocation for Management/In-House/Minority Quota
12 June 2025 to 14 June 2025
- Zero Round – Quota Admission for Minority, Quota, In-House Quota, and Management Quota at the college level will be provided by the department.
17 June 2025:
- (CAP Round-1) Compilation of the Merit list for qualified Candidates/allocation. Review of allocation by the divisional CAP committees.
26 June 2025 – (CAP Round-1)
- Presentation of the Jr. College Allotment list for the Round on the portal.
- Presentation of the allotted Jr. College details for admission in the student login.
- Presentation of the list of students allotted to Jr. Colleges.
- Presentation of the cut-off list for the Admission Round. (To be published on the Portal.)
27 June 2025 to 03 July 2025
- Students should click on (Proceed For Admission) if they are satisfied with the assigned Junior College.
- Students must report to the designated college for document verification and payment of the required fees, as well as to confirm their admission in the assigned Junior College.
- If a student chooses not to enroll in the assigned Junior College, they should participate in the next round.
- Admission confirmation, rejection, and cancellation can be managed through the College Login.
- Student registration, including preference selection, will continue for new applicants in the NEXT ROUND only if consent is provided by the student.
Notes :-
- If a student intends to enroll in the assigned Junior College, they should click on ‘Proceed for Admission’ in the Student Login, upload the necessary documents, and then confirm their admission in the assigned Junior College.
- If a student opts not to enroll in the assigned Junior College, they may wait for the subsequent round. HOWEVER, students who have been assigned their first preference are required to enroll in the assigned Junior College.
- Failure to enroll or being rejected will result in the student being blocked from participating in the subsequent Regular Rounds 2 to 4, and they will only be eligible for all rounds thereafter.
- If a student wishes to cancel their confirmed admission, they may request the relevant Junior College to process the cancellation. Students who have canceled their admissions will also face restrictions for the subsequent Regular Round and will only be considered after the next round.
5 July 2025
- Display of vacancy for Regular Round 2 (including Quota seats Jr. Colleges)
Instructions:
- Students who have secured their admission in any Junior College via CAP or QUOTA have completed the admission process for
him/her. - Registration fees must be paid exclusively through Digital Payment methods.
- All stakeholders are required to adhere to the specified time limits (as per the schedule) for any activity.
- Zero Round for Management/In-House Quota/Minority Quota admissions will take place from 12-06-2025 to 14-06-2025.
