KVS Balvatika Admission Portal Registration 2025-26 Last Date Extended?: The Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan has recently initiated a new admission process for Balvatika classes 1 and 3 in select KV schools for the academic year 2025-26, commencing on March 7, 2025, at 10 AM. Additionally, the deadline for the first phase of online registration for both classes is set for March 21, 2025, at 10 PM. KVS has established a dedicated web portal (https://balvatika.kvs.gov.in/) to serve as a single-window system for over 450 KV schools nationwide.

Today, the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) announced that the registration period for Balvatika classes 1 and 3 has been extended by an additional three days, making the new deadline March 24, 2025, at 10 PM, instead of the previously set date of March 21, 2025. Furthermore, KVS has issued an official notice indicating that the Lottery Draw has also been postponed by two days, now scheduled for March 28, 2025, instead of March 26, 2025. The updated Lottery Draw schedule, organized by region, is provided below along with the respective dates and times.

KVS Balvatika Admission Portal Not Open for Registration!
The Kendriya Vidyalaya Balvatika online registration portal was performed better for one week, starting from March 7, 2025. However, for the past two days (since March 13, 2025), the portal has been inaccessible and displays a message indicating it is ‘Under Maintenance.’ The KVS has announced that online registration for Balvatika classes 1 and 3 will commence through the portal (balvatika.kvs.gov.in). Applicants will have a registration window of 15 days, from March 7 to March 21, 2025. Regrettably, the KVS Balvatika admission portal has encountered technical difficulties, preventing access for online registration for over two days.

KVS Balvatika-3 Admission: Online or Offline Application?
According to the notification released by the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan on March 5, 2025, the online registration for admission to Class I and Balvatika (in select Kendriya Vidyalayas) for the Academic Year 2025-26 will begin through two distinct portals:
- To apply online for Class 1: https://kvsonlineadmission.kvs.gov.in
- To apply online for Balvatika 1 and 3 (where applicable): https://balvatika.kvs.gov.in
Additionally, it is noted in point four that registration for new admissions in Balvatika-2 and 3 (where online admissions are not available), as well as for Class II and above (excluding Class XI), will commence on April 2, 2025, at 10:00 AM and will continue until April 11, 2025, at 4:00 PM, provided there are available vacancies. This process will be conducted in offline mode only. The completed application form must be submitted to the Principal’s office at the respective Kendriya Vidyalaya.
Therefore, admissions for Balvatika-3 will also be carried out through offline means. Parents are encouraged to stay informed about this admission process and to reach out to their nearest Kendriya Vidyalaya for further information.
