Gazetted Holidays List 2025

The Central Government Office has officially announced the Gazetted Holidays for the year 2025. These holidays are specifically designated for central government offices and industrial establishments. Every year, usually in June, a detailed holiday calendar for the upcoming year is published by the Central Government. This calendar is circulated through an official memorandum from the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT), categorizing Gazetted Holidays and Restricted Holidays separately. Initially, there are 14 mandatory holidays listed, and individuals are then given the flexibility to choose three holidays from this list to observe, making a total of 17 days off. These 17 days represent the Gazetted Holidays recognized for employees of the Central government.
